How come no one besides Gaius was suspicious or skeptical about a remedy that cures all ills? Why did Uther not tihnk it was black magic? Gwen actually witnessed Edwin putting the blood and yet no one paid any heed to her. I don't blame Merlin for finding a friend in Edwin but Melrin is supposed to be very special, not some ordinary mere mortal, he's a very powerful warlock. I guess he's young yet. At least he trusts Gaius unconditionally, maybe he is a genius after all. ;-), unlike Uther who is a genocidal monster.
