 I've been a professional writer and editor, although never fiction. I had never heard of Fan Fiction until I discovered it here at this site and MerlinXArthur. However, I found I enjoyed it and some ideas began to percolate. So here I am posting.

Ruminations NC-17 Arthur/Merlin There are bandits on the nothern border. A broody Arthur and puzzled Merlin go to investigate. They take on false identies at an inn and meet an enigmatic if rather succinct sorceress, among other things. It's mostly character study and eventually romance, with a somewhat Rosenkavalier ending (in style if not in content). All but two chapters T, but 6 and 8 are NC-17. First ever Fan Fiction.

Merlin looks after Arthur on the day day after a difficult event. Some amusing moments, some serious moments.
