Are you a bit like Merlin, wanting to help but remain out of the spotlight? If so, then consider taking on one of Merlin’s Missions. These are short tasks that a person can complete individually. All of these tasks, briefed below, are currently on the to-do list that the moderators have had for a very long time. Some of the tasks, which are pretty big (that’s why the moderators haven’t done them yet, lol!) can be taken on by more than one person. If you are interested on completing one of Merlin’s Missions, please send a request message to one of the moderators so we can check off that mission as unavailable. Then, spend as much or as little time over the summer working on that mission, so that you can complete it for us! Everyone who takes on one of Merlin’s Missions and completes it will be given site-wide recognition and a trophy for their profile.

 | ARTHUR'S TASKFORCES | | |
Are you a bit more like Arthur, ready to tackle huge problems with a team of like-minded individuals? If so, then consider joining one of Arthur’s Taskforces. Each taskforce will be headed by one of the moderators, and will consist of multiple site members. All of these people—including the moderators—will work together closely to complete a significantly large project. This is a great way to get to know new site members and interact with the moderators directly. If you are interested in joining a specific taskforce, please send a request message to the leading moderator. We want to keep the taskforces as even as possible, so the taskforces with increased requests will have to have some site members work on a different taskforce. Thus, please include your second and third taskforce choices in your message so that we can place all participants fairly. All members of a taskforce who complete their task successfully will be given site-wide recognition and a trophy for their profile.

Are you a bit like Gwen, the greatest friend that legends have ever known? If so, consider joining the netiquette movement this summer, which we hope will remedy the increasing negativity we’ve noticed among the site members. We hope to have a large group of site members participate in this buddy activity, which will encourage you to form new friendships with other site members over the course of a week. Hopefully these friendships and learned skills in netiquette will transcend the summer, continuing throughout the months as our site grows. There are no requirements for joing Gwen’s Buddy System—you just need to fill out the quick form below and send it to one of the moderators. Once we get all the forms, the moderators will set up a buddy tree and tell you who your buddy for the week is. The buddies will be switched every week, although we do encourage you to keep in touch with your previous buddies. A few moderators may be participating in Gwen’s Buddy System as well, so why not take the opportunity to get to know them as well?
