THE MAGIC BOOK

	USED IN EPISODE: In many different episodes
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A brown book filled with magical spells
	HOW WAS IT USED: Used by Merlin to find various spells
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: It belonged to Gaius and he gave it to Merlin in Season 1 Episode 1
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Contains various spells that Merlin found useful in various situations
	ITEM'S FATE: It had to be hidden a couple of times as guards were searching Merlin's chambers, but it is normally hidden beneath a secret, movable wooden plank on Merlin's bedroom floor.

EXCALIBUR

	USED IN EPISODE "Excalibur"
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: An impressive sword forged by The Great Dragon's breath.
	HOW WAS IT USED: It was created for Arthur, but was accidentally used by Uther to kill Tristan's wraith.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: Forged by Gwen's father; Gwen gave it to Merlin secretly. The Dragon then empowered it with his magical breath, making Merlin promise not to let anyone else but Arthur use it.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Forged by Gwen's father; Gwen gave it to Merlin secretly. The Dragon then empowered it with his magical breath, making Merlin promise not to let anyone else but Arthur use it.
	ITEM'S FATE: After finding out that Uther used it, the Dragon angrily told Merlin to "hide it where no mortal can find it". Merlin threw it into the lake.

SIDHE STAFF

	USED IN EPISODE: -"Gates of Avalon", - "To Kill the King"
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A long staff with a green crystal on top, with intricate writing and decorations on it.
	HOW WAS IT USED: -can emit blue energy from it as attacks.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: - the Sidhes possessed it.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES:- magical attacks
	ITEM'S FATE: -Merlin kept it after the Sidhe were killed.

ALCHEMY STONE (THE MAIDSTONE)

	USED IN EPISODE: "To Kill the King"
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: An orange stone that would glow when touched by one with magic.
	HOW WAS IT USED: To harness the powers of Alchemy.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: unknown
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: - can create gold with any metal -It can also reflect back magical attacks.
	ITEM'S FATE: unknown? it may still be around as it was dropped onto the floor and then we never saw it again.

CORNELIUS SIGAN'S SOUL STONE

Episode 201 The Curse of Cornelius Sigan

	USED IN EPISODE: "The Curse of Cornelius Sigan"
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: It is a heart shaped crystal that held the soul of Cornelius Sigan. The soul itself was blue so that when it was freed, the crystal that was left was white.
	HOW WAS IT USED: Sigan used it to contain his soul, how he did this is unknown.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: -by Cornelius Sigan, a powerful sorcerer who wanted revenge on Camelot.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: -held the soul of Cornelius Sigan- the key to immortality.
	ITEM'S FATE: The soul was put back into the crystal and was placed back in the grave. The soul seems to be undamaged, however, which means Sigan could always return.

TROLL'S AMULET OF ENCHANTMENT

	USED IN EPISODE: Season 2. The Beauty and the Beast Parts 1 and 2
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: An ornate necklace with a large jewel that glows with the magic to control people.
	HOW WAS IT USED: To enchant Uther into doing the Troll's will.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: The troll created it using some of her own blood.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Enchant people to do their will.
	ITEM'S FATE: The enchantment was broken by Uther crying because Arthur was "dead"

MORGAUSE'S BRACELET

	USED IN EPISODE: The Sins of the Father (Morgana has worn it since, and she no longer has nightmares)
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: It is a beautiful silver and gold bracelet, bearing the mark of the house of Gorlois.
	HOW WAS IT USED: Morgause put it in Morgana's room.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: Unknown
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Aids peaceful sleep, a healing bracelet
	ITEM'S FATE: Morgause gave it to Morgana before she left and Morgana now wears it.

CRYSTAL OF NEAHTID

	USED IN EPISODE: The Witch's Quickening
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A powerful, white crystal that was protected by the sorcerers until King Uther stole it and locked it away in the underground vaults. It holds mysterious powers as it is a precious magical relic of the Old Religion. This stone is only a small part of a large cave called The Chrystal Cave. This cave will be explored later in Season 3, Episode 5 "The Chrystal Cave" and perhaps make a few reappearances in later seasons.
	HOW WAS IT USED: Merlin held the crystal out of curiosity and saw Camelot destroyed by fires and the Great Dragon creating chaos. He also saw himself crying.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: Unknown, but many sorcerers died protecting it.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: "It shows what has been, what is, and what will be." -The Great Dragon
	ITEM'S FATE: Locked back in the vaults underneath the castle.

MANDRAKE'S ROOT

	USED IN EPISODE:Used in episode 1 of season 3.
	ITEM DESCRIPTION:It is shaped like a straw voodoo doll.
	HOW WAS IT USED:Plotting to overthrow the King, Morgause makes King Uther go crazy by enchanting the Mandrake Root. She dips it in a potion made of Uther's tears and thick, dark black muck that looks like thick melted chocolate.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED:The root grows in the ground.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES:Only magical people can hear its scream. If done properly, the root can make regular humans insane.
	ITEM'S FATE: Being thrown into the fireplace by Merlin and burned.

THE ROD OF RHOAN

	USED IN EPISODE:The Tears Of Uther Pendragon Part 2
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: It looks like a long rod with a a small mini bare-branch tree on top.
	HOW WAS IT USED:Morgana uses the rod to bring the Dead alive.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED:It was carved from the Rhoan (sp?) Tree that grows in the heart of the Isle of the Blessed.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES:Can raise the dead, do powerful magic. The rod has a power of its own, so it can do spells without you telling it what to do.
	ITEM'S FATE: The rod is severed into two by Merlin who uses a sword and spell to cut it in half.

CHRYSTALS OF STARUN (sp?)

	USED IN EPISODE: Season 3 episode 4, Gwaine
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A large, fist size crystal that is clear and shaped like a diamond.
	HOW WAS IT USED: To change people into the liking of others.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: Unknown. Probably made from magic of the Old Religion.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: To change people into the liking of others.
	ITEM'S FATE: Taken by Gaius from the assassins who wore them.

EYE OF THE PHOENIX BRACELET

	USED IN EPISODE:The Eye of the Phoenix Season 3, Episode 8.
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A metal bracelet with a large, yellow jewel in the middle with metal wings on the sides of the jewel.
	HOW WAS IT USED: To kill Arthur by sucking the life out of him.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: By magic?
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Takes the strength and life out of the wearer.
	ITEM'S FATE: Taken from Arthur and given to the Fisher King who disappeared with it on after dying.

PORTAL TO ANOTHER WORLD

	USED IN EPISODE: Love in the Time of Dragons, Season 3, Episode 9.
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a medium sized chest with gold trim around the edges and a place for a lock. It is the colour gold too.
	HOW WAS IT USED: This box was used to let the manticore enter the human world.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: By Magic?
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: This box was used as a portal from the magical world to the human world.
	ITEM'S FATE: Blown up by magic.

The Cup of Life

	USED IN EPISODE: Le Morte d'Arthur and The Coming of Arthur (Part I)
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: If a dying person drinks water from the cup of life, it will give life to them and healing all wounds and injuries in the process. It can also be used to create an immortal army of the dead (as seen in episode 12, season 3.)
	HOW WAS IT USED: Its water was used to save Arthur and Sir Leon. Morgause used it to transform Cenreds army into an army of immortals.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: Blessed by many powerful sorcerers over many, many centuries.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: Water drawn from it and given to a dying person will give life to that person and heal all wounds and injuries that caused the death.
	ITEM'S FATE: Now in the hands of Morgause and Morgana, and is being used for evil.

Vile of Lake Avalon Wtar

	USED IN EPISODE: The Eye of the Pheonix,
	ITEM DESCRIPTION: A vile containing water from the Lake of Avalon.
	HOW WAS IT USED: Merlin used it to speak to Freya.
	HOW WAS IT CREATED: The Fisher king gave it to Merlin before Merlin granted him death.
	SPECIAL/MAGICAL PROPERTIES: It allowed him to get in contact with Freya who gave him Excaibur
	ITEM'S FATE: In the Coming of Arthur (part 2), Merlin tries to use magic on the vile, but falls asleep and it breaks, after which he speaks to Freya.
