I have this theory. The druid boy Mordred called Merlin in another name, Emrys. The great Dragon said that it's one of many of Merlin's names. I was looking around wikipedia about the meaning of Emrys.
Emrys means "Immortal". So I think that Merlin can't be killed that easily because he's immortal. I've been remembering some of the episodes where Merlin was in the brink of death. Like in the episode 4 of season 1 "The Poisoned Chalice." I think that Gaius was too late to have given Merlin the antidot because Merlin's heart stopped after he drank it. But he came back to life. And there are other instances like "The Gate of Avalon" where Merlin got zapped by the Avelonian's magic staff but he just seem dazed. When the Avalonians used it on others and when Merlin zapped them with the same staff they desintegrated. And in the final battle between Merlin and Nemuih, she thought that she killed Merlin when she zapped him with her power. But Merlin just got up and killed her with a bolt of lightning. Maybe you guys have something to support or to comment on my theory. I don't know if it's significant at all. I just want to share it to you guys just to give you something to think about while we wait for season 3.

What would you think would Arthur do if he some how he finds out that Merlin is a warlock? Will Arthur hunt Merlin down like the rest of his kind, or will he just keep it to himself and not let Merlin know that he knows?

Everyone wants Arthur to find out Merlin is magic in season 3 but i think the sooner they do that, the sooner the series will end, and thats something nobody wants. haha. Im soo excited! i hope the merlinblogs continue posting the season 3 for us in canada or the US so we can watch it as it goes along :)
