Dragon's Tears
Beyond the vast wasteland where there was ice and fire broods the lonely bard strumming his saddened lyre What has become of the dragon where was his deadly foe where were the mighty warriors in days of long ago (chorus) So the dragon cries in vain as he has for many years and we all know that the rain was once the dragon's tears Far past the pink ice caps brightly shining in the sun is where the dragon's quest had once begun He would call with a mighty roar but no answer was heard and, alas, no more were no dragon's word. (chorus) In his heart no desire, no flames circle his head in his soul, no reign of fire in his eyes, tears instead So, if you sometimes wonder why the dragons cry inquire of the bard your quest he won't deny |
