| The Dragon's Call | Gwen is seen looking from her window when Arthur is seemingly bullying Merlin, and looks quite worried. Later, when Merlin is put in the stocks, Gwen approaches to talk, however, she begins to stumble over her words quite a bit, not quite knowing how to speak to him. She eventually tells him that he is very brave for standing up to Arthur At the celebratory banquet, Gwen once again, approaches Merlin for a chat, remarking on the fact that she prefers ordinary men like Merlin as opposed to men like Arthur. After realising that Merlin got the 'wrong' idea, she gets very embarrassed, assuring him that she didn't literally mean that she likes Merlin |
| Valiant | Gwen offers to teach Merlin about Arthur's armour and the two share a sweet moment together |
| The Mark of Nimueh | Gwen offers Merlin a flower, saying that the colour suits him, but assuring him that the colour he is wearing suits him too. Merlin seems happy to receive the gift, even if he's oblivious to what it means. Merlin uses magic to save Gwen's father after he becomes very ill, even though he knows that magic is banned in Camelot. He comes to visit Gwen the next day, commenting on the fact that he doesn't like seeing her upset, which seems to please her a lot. When Gwen is arrested for Merlin's use of magic on her father, Merlin immediately says that he must see her, and goes to visit her in her cell. She is overjoyed to see him and runs over to him, despite the chains holding her back. During their brief meeting, Gwen asks Merlin not to cry about her, but to please remember her when she is gone. Merlin, in an act of selflessness, declares that he used the magic, in an effort to save Gwen's life, but his efforts are dashed when Arthur gets him off the hook by saying he is only saying this because he is in love with Gwen |
| The Poisoned Chalice | Gwen seems a little upset when Merlin comments on the beauty of another woman. During the feast, when Merlin drinks poison to save Arthur, Gwen looks extremely worried, and relieved when she believed him to be OK. However, when he falls unconscious after drinking the poison, Gwen rushes to his side and helps Gaius tend his fever, fetching anything he needs to cure Merlin. We can see how much she cares about Merlin, and how worried she is about his condition. Later, she sneaks into the dungeons to get Merlin's antidote from Arthur, event though it is dangerous to do so, and when Merlin appears to have died, Gwen feels very guilty that she did not do enough to help and that she wasn't quick enough. When Merlin wakes up, Gwen kisses him in a fit of happiness. |
| Lancelot | Lancelot asks Merlin whether he and Gwen are together, and Merlin laughs in embarrassment, saying they are only friends. While watching Lancelot pass his test to become a knight, Gwen grabs Merlin's tunic instinctively, apologising afterwards in a moment of awkwardness. |
| Excalibur | Merlin asks Gwen for a favour, and she answers him, saying that she would grant him anything he wanted. Merlin doesn't understand what she means, and simply looks at her obliviously. Gwen comments later that she sword Merlin wants is her father's best and that he would kill her if he found out she'd taken it for Merlin |
| The Moment of Truth | Gwen offers to come with Merlin and help him rescue his village. Later, when she is talking to Morgana about why Arthur came to help Merlin, she answers that he came for the same reason they did- Merlin. |

First i use to like merwen togethor. But after episode 10 (first interaction of a/g) i immediatly knew that they more like friends then future lovers. I am happy with that. but KNOW i am just a BIG FAN of their friendship.. i am hoping for that Gwen is the one who figures his powers for Arthur. Just to make their friendship dynamic more powerful XD

I miss MerlinxGwen they were so cute together but I guess Merlin didnt see that and Gwen moved on but awwwwwwwww !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
