I just finished reading the story and I have to say that it is probably my favorite fanfiction that I have read EVER. I can't wait to read the next season if it happens. (and I would be really sad if it didn't, so PLEASE write it) the second season might be a bit harder though, with some story conflicts, but from what I have read, I am confident in your ability to successfully write it. I have decided that you are an amazing writer. I am very eagerly awaiting the next instalment. Good Luck! and thank you for an amazing story.

I just wanted to say that I am absolutely enthralled with your story. It's amazing! I love how the story is guided by canon in part, and yet branches off onto its own unique path.
Your version of Merlin is amazing! Heh, I do sometimes feel for her having to deal with the two crazy Pendragons and their various schemes, as well as having to dodge Morgana and Gwen when they start giving her those amorous looks. Poor girl, if they aren't careful, the Camelot gang really *will* drive Merlin to an early grave. I'm also intrigued over the tidbits of the future that Merlin has seen. You've hinted that Morgana saw what Merlin saw as well, though she doesn't quite understand what she saw, and it makes me wonder if the dream is set in stone. Many of Morgana's prophetic dreams concerning Arthur's death have been averted -- usually thanks to some quick doings on Merlin's part. In the dream that Merlin saw, she's Arthur's High Sorceress, though there is clearly quite a bit of love and feeling between them. Yet, Uther already has a marriage contract for Arthur and Merlin drawn up (really am DYING to see Merlin's reaction when she learns about that), which will pave the way for Merlin to be Queen of Camelot. So I wonder if Merlin's dream is set and there is no changing it? Will the contract and Uther's willingness to bind Merlin and Arthur together permanently be enough to avert the future Merlin and Morgana saw, or will something happen to stop the marriage and keep Merlin only as Camelot's High Sorceress? Speaking of Uther, I've enjoyed how you've portrayed him. I always enjoy stories that show Uther isn't as oblivious as he appears. Very, very interesting. I also like how Uther has come to see Merlin as the daughter he and Igraine had so longed for (even if he sometimes treats her as a prospective lover in order to provoke Arthur -- I still laugh at those times). |

I liked especially how you made Merlin a girl.
