Merlin and Arthur go to investigate the information that the fires of Idirsholas were burning and are confronted by the deadly knights of Medhir. When they come back they have even more to worry about as Camelot has been struck by a strange sleeping spell with only Morgana left alive. With Morgause and the knights attacking Camelot, Merlin is faced with a terrible choice...

Supporting Cast & Characters

Name: Morgause

Motivations: To bring about Uther's death.

Victims: Very nearly the entire of Camelot.

Magical abilities: Many, including a powerful sleeping spell

Accomplices: Morgana, and the Knights of Medhir

Fate: Is forced to escape Camelot with Morgana when the spell is lifted,and everyone begins to wake up.

Special abilities: They appear to be unlikable/undead and they can fight well.

Magical abilities: None of their own; they are always under the control of magic users.

Natural habitat: Within Idirsholas (though they were originally knights of Camelot.)

Strengths: They are seemingly imperious to physical harm.

Weaknesses: They are completely under the control of the magic user. If the magic user is killed or removes the spell they die.

Monster's fate:Morgause removes the spell on them and they die (at least for now).

The Last Dragonlord

The Great Dragon is finally free. Full of rage, he attacks Camelot with pitiless intensity. The castle is crumbling and Arthur's men cannot hold out much longer but only a Dragonlord can kill a dragon and Uther wiped them all out years ago. Or did he? Gaius admits one such man could still be alive and in hiding.
The last Dragonlord is the key to Merlin's own past as well as the future of Camelot, but will Arthur and Merlin find Balinor in time to save the kingdom?
