when merlin is takeing the second dinner to fraya and he bumps into halig and halig takes him to the dungeons to start questioning him. he thinks merlin isnt telling the turth so he goes to beat him up and arthur finds them. |

*Merlin swaps Arthurs sausages with magic* Arthur:I had sausages Merlin: You sure? They must've fallen off the table. Arthur:Merlin!! Merlin: What? You can search me, I haven't taken them Arthur:Well where have they gone??!! Merlin: Strange Arthur:VERY. Merlin: Sure you didn't eat them?? Arthur:I haven't had the CHANCE!!!!!! | When Merlin is getting food for Freya the second time. |
Arthur: Something's been upsetting you, hasn't it?
Merlin: Maybe.
Arthur: Was it when I threw water on you?
Merlin: *laughs and shakes his head* It wasn't very nice.
Arthur: It was a bit unfair... like when you called me fat.
Merlin: Why was that unfair?
Arthur: Because I am not! *gives Merlin a noogie* Still think I need to get in shape?
Merlin: No! No, no, no, no, no! | When Merlin is polishing Arthur's seven pairs of boots after letting Freya go. |
Merlin: Breakfast!*goes to walk out door*
Arthur: OI! Where's the meat, cheese?
Merlin: That's the new breakfast menu.
Arthur: *Picks up food* This isn't enough!
Merlin: Well, we've got to keep you in shape.
Arthur: I'm fighting fit!
Merlin: We want to keep you that way.
Arthur: MERLIN! *throws food at him* | Ater Merlin took Arthur's breakfast to give to Freya, replacing it with a piece of bread and a rotten apple. |
Merlin: *pours water for Arthur's bath*
Arthur: Make sure it's hot enough.
Merlin: *sticks hand in water then heats it using magic*
Arthur: Is it ready?
Merlin: Yep. Freshly heated.
Arthur: *sticks his foot in* OW! You bumpkin! It's boiling!
Merlin: Boiling?
Arthur: You are half-asleep today!
Merlin: I'm sorry, Sire. I'll get you some cold.
Arthur: No, I'll get you some! *splashes pitcher of water on Merlin* That woken you up?
Merlin: Rarin' to go, Sire. | After Merlin tries to deliver the food he has just taken from Arthur to Freya, but Arthur gives him chores to do. (And another shirtless scene.) |
Merlin: Thank you.
Arthur: *looks at ground near Merlin's feet, where Halig put the stolen food*
Merlin: *looks at ground, too* Ah.
Arthur: Are those my sausages?
Merlin: *nods* Umm...
Arthur: You took them?
Merlin: To keep you in shape.
Arthur: Are you saying I'm fat?
Merlin: No! Well, not yet...
Arthur: I AM NOT FAT!
Merlin: You see? It's working. *walks away*
Arthur: *looks confused and looks at himself* | After Arthur defended Merlin when Halig was accusing him of helping Freya escape |
Freya: I scare most people away.
Merlin: I am not "most people." | When Merlin brings her food |
Merlin: *searches through Morgana's closet for clothes for Freya, occasionally holds one up to himself*
Gwen: *Walks in as Merlin holds up a dress* Merlin? I'm sure there's an obvious explanation.
Merlin: There is.
Gwen: Which is?
Merlin: Moths.
Gwen: Moths?
Merlin: Yes, the castle's overrun with them.
Gwen: Really?
Merlin: I was just checking that they haven't gotten in here.
Gwen: And have they?
Merlin: It's totally infested. I'll have to burn it.
Gwen: Burn it?
Merlin: Yeah. If we don't stop them, we'll all be walking around naked.*walks out door with a dress*
Arthur: Looks at dress, looks at Merlin, and walks away, then turns around* What are you doing?
Merlin: Running an errand for Gaius.
Arthur: For Gaius?
Merlin: Yes.
Arthur: Strange.
Merlin: *looks at dress* Oh, I don't think it's for him.
Arthur: As long as you do a decent day's work, Merlin, that's all I care about.
Merlin: No, no! It's not for me!
Arthur: What a man does in his spare time is completely up to him.*walks away*
Merlin: No, you've got this wrong!
Arthur: That color will suit you, Merlin! |

Merlin: what?

Merlin: I saw you and.,.,.,.It could have been me in that cage. | After merlin helps freya to escape.,., |
Merlin: Youre not on your own anymore.Im going to look after you, i promise
Freya: You cant look after me. No one can.
Merlin:( Holding her hands) I dont think you understand..,.I've never known anyone like you.,. ( Releases her hands, but she places one on top of his) I wish I could stay.
Freya: You're going?
Merlin: We needed to be careful. I'll come back in the morning.you know i will be back don't you?
( Freya nods.Merlin stands up ready to leave.)
Freya: Merlin? I've never known anyone like you either.,. |

Freya:(crying) They're going to find me.I can't go back in that cage.I can't.
Merlin:I wont let that happen. I promised you I'd look after you and i will. No matter what. You really don't realize how special you are, do you?
Freya: You're not scared of me?
Merlin: ( shake his head ) Being different is nothing to be scared of.
( Merlin sheds a tear as they kiss ) |

Merlin:This is going to be the best bread you have ever tasted. What do you want with it? come on, you can have anything. Ham.,cheese,..,.
Freya: Strawberries.,
Merlin: Strawberries it is.( rub his hands together and cast a spell, making a rose appear between them.)
Freya: ( smiles). That's not a strawberry.
Merlin: It's the right colour. ( gives her the flower then smile )
Freya: Why are you so good to me?
Merlin: Because.,.,.I can't help it and.,.,.I dunno. I LIKE YOU. With you, I can just be who i am. We don't have to hide anything. We don't have to worry.
Freya: Merlin,please. Listen to me.Im not like you. |

Merlin: I'm fed up with being careful.I'm fed up with all of these.So i've decided, I'm going to get you out of here. Out of Camelot.
Freya: How?
Merlin: I'll get you some clothes. Disguise you. What's wrong?
Freya: It's just.,.,.,.I'm going to miss you.
Merlin: No,you won't. Because i'm going to come with you.

Merlin: Then we'll go somewhere no one knows us. Somewhere far away. You haven't given me your answer.
Freya: I want that more than anything. [ Merlin laughs as Freya smiles] Where will we go?
Merlin: Somewhere with mountains.
Freya: A few fields.
Merlin: Wild flowers.
Freya: a couple of cows.
Merlin: And a lake.
Freya: *smiles* and a lake.
