Morgana becomes terrified when she realizes that her premonitions suggest that she has magic. Gaius is determined to keep her in the dark, but a sympathetic Merlin decides that he must help his friend cope. A chain of events sparked by both Merlin's interference and Morgana's possible magic leads to a second meeting with Mordred, who is destined to kill Arthur. That is, if the Great Dragon is as far-seeing as he proclaims...

An outlaw named Kendrick attempts to kidnap Morgana. However she and Gwen manage to start running away, but Gwen gets herself captured to allow Morgana to escape. Not willing to go back to Hengist empty handed; Kendrick hands Gwen over pretending that she is Morgana. Uther refuses to pay the randsom so Arthur goes against his wishes and goes to free her. Merlin goes along and is suspicious of the fact the Arthur may have 'feelings' for her. However Gwen is not all alone in the Castle, she is reunited with Lancelot and their feelings start to rekindle...
