Wonderful. It looks like we get to start seeing the Knights of the Round Table arrive according to an article I found.

I am confused too, but I think it is linked to the fact that Dr Who, which occupies the same time slot in the spring/summer season, is splitting in half and will air as a two part series next year. Merlin might be doing the same? 15  out of 18 found this valuable. Do you?

Being a bookkeeper I would guess that if their budget is unchanged but they reduce the number of episodes that gives them more to use towards each episode and the chance of making them better. It's one way to looking at it. 20  out of 23 found this valuable. Do you?

I read somewhere that the BBC was having budget cuts? 12 episodes wasn't much, 10 is even fewer. 42  out of 46 found this valuable. Do you?

Everything is being cut here in the UK. But then licence fees and stuff are going up so I'm surprised that the BBc are losing money... 17  out of 20 found this valuable. Do you?

I can't believe it either... just thinking about it I feel Merlin deprived.
@ladyluck I sure hope so! That would be OK.

I bet Mordrid will be back in S4 teaming up with Morgana and Morgause... if they don't know about Merlin by the end of S3 they'll likely find out next season. 13  out of 17 found this valuable. Do you?

They have to, I think. Otherwise they just lose all credibility as powerful villains because of one stupid oversight.

I hope Mordred comes back =) maybe Alvarr will too? I saw him in Made in Dagenham, which was odd...quite good in it though 15  out of 20 found this valuable. Do you?

That would make for a nasty little triad with Morgana, Morgause, and Mordrid. I would probably add Morgause’s lap dog Cendred. It’s a good reason to bring back the Knights we have seen and start to bring in others. With that group to go up against, Arthur and Merlin would need the backup of some strong fighters as the Knights are suppose to be and who’s loyalty to Arthur and Merlin are without question. 17  out of 22 found this valuable. Of course! Where would they be without thier lap dog to use as a scape-goat?
Hmm... I wonder if Merlin will learn to develop his ability to see the future in the next season.
Also Lancelot and Gwaine... I wonder how they'll get the round table together with Uther against them... Some great deed worthy of an elabourate reward they do to help Arthur? I don't believe for a second that Uther would admit error in his judgement of them - or bend his precious code.

All of us? How are we going to put that on the entrance form?
It is a good point about Mordred. I'm guessing he will reappear, spill and it will be an "everyone yell, be angsty and throw stuff at Merlin" episode. Those are my favourites! =D 11  out of 14 found this valuable. Do you?
