Hey everyone
Let's see how long we can keep this thread going! GAME RULES The rules are simple: 1. The first person posts a Merlin related word ie: MERLIN 2. The next person posts word that starts with the last letter of the previous word. e.g. if the last word was MERLIN" the new word could be "NIMUEH or NIGHTMARE" 3. You CAN NOT POST 2 TIMES IN A ROW.. 4. Words must be MERLIN related 5. Good Luck!

(We have enough people now so we can start RolePlaying. I'll start off as I know how hard it is to start. Oh and I think for clarity, and out of character posts on this thread should be in brackets.)
Morgana was in a contemplative mood. There hadn't been an emergency in Camelot for a while and there was an air of restful calm around. So she had time to think; to think a lot. And what she was currently thinking about was what she found she had been thinking about a lot recently; her...magick. Since her discovery of it she had found that she was forced to do some soul seeking. In one way it was a relief; to finally know. But on the other hand there was now a distant fear that she would lose control of it, that someone would see, and that Uther would find out. She told herself over and over that that wasn't going to happen but she couldn't help but worry in the back of her mind. Forcefully she shook off the mood she was in and stepped out of her chambers to take a walk to clear her head.... (Okay guys! Feel free to jump in with your characters!)

Hey everyone!
I enjoy roleplay; so I figured we could have a Merlin one on this site. Basically, post to this thread if you are interested and which character you would like to roleplay. You get characters on a first come, first served basis. Once we have most of the main characters, I will start a seperate thread that will be used to roleplay in. Some rules for the roleplay: *Try to keep the situations at a fairly family friendly level as people of all ages may be involved in the roleplay. *Don't kill another person's character without their permission. *You can make your character feel romantically about any other character you choose, say if you are Roleplaying Merlin, you could decide that Merlin has a crush on Arthur...but it would be up to the person playing Arthur whether Arthur reciprocates the feelings and they are a couple. *Just basically be considerate of other people and have fun! *You can Roleplay your Merlin OC if you like. I'm claiming the part of Morgana but currently the free characters are: *Merlin *Arthur *Gwen *Gaius *Uther *Any of the knights of Camelot *Past villains (you'd have to explain how they came back to life.) I hope people will be interested in it!

Which would you rather have Merlin's magickal powers or Arthur's status as a prince and his swordfighting skills? I personally would have Merlin's powers as you can learn fighting but magick is harder to learn...plus it's a more rare skill.

So I hope this isn't a recipe for a shipping war...
But which pairings in Merlin do you like? I like Morgana/Gwen because it's so cute and Arthur/Merlin because they are just so willing to die for each other and stuff.

A.Glomp him B.Call your dad to get the shotgun C.Assume you're asleep and go back to sleep D.Document everything he does then right a crappy fanfic about it E.Be like WTF? F.Other(please explain what you would do) I'd probably do E. ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS: In case you don't know, when you post something it goes to the end of the list. So if you want to answer a question that's already been up for awhile tell what question it is. Or just use Quote & Reply.

Hey Merlin Fans,
Not sure if you all have heard, but there is going to be a Merlin Season 3 (2010)! "Anthony Head confirmed in Merlin Secrets and Magic - A Family Affair that as far as he knows there will be a series 3. The third series of Merlin is expected to be available in high-definition in line with the BBC's stated policy of moving all television production to HD by 2010."

No review thread... AND I NEED TO GET THIS REVIEW IN NOW.
Brilliant episode. I loved Colin. Merlin was cuter than usual and I wanted to hug him. Poor Gaius though. :( And poor Merlin. :( And in a way, poor Alice. :( A lack of Bradley, which was understandable but on the up side, he looked more beautiful than usual. Didn't have to put up with Gwen, which is always good (BUT SDFGHJCVBNM NEXT EPISODE! POOR ARTHUR D:). Didn't have to put up with Morgana pissing me off. Thank God. Highlight of the episode. Can I just say, the hammer was brilliant. Also, best bit ever: Merlin: How does punching make me feel better? Arthur: ...It works with the knights? Merlin: But they're all thick, aren't they. Arthur: .......I'M a knight. Hurr :') Lol'd so hard then. That was brilliant. Also, so much blatant Merthur in that scene, I was kinda rooting for it then. ;)

A new young sorcerer comes to Camelot. Can Merlin teach him control before it's too late? It's another tense Season 3 episode! Only two more after this! What did you think of this episode? Was it a perfect episode 11 or should it have been more of a story arc driven episode?
